Teri is an engineer/technologist, consultant, and former educator. She has held consultative, technical and business development roles for several organizations as well as management roles in IT, higher education, software/mobile app development, and professional services firms. Teri currently holds 35+ certifications from a variety of organizations including IEEE and Apple. She’s also been a part of projects that went onto win GRAMMY-Awards/Nominations, a TEC Award, & a TEC Nomination. She’s also produced and edited a drum sample library at Butch Vig’s Smart Studios. As a gigging musician, Teri has played RiotFest (aftershow) and created/performed drum parts on a demo that attracted label attention (Minty Fresh). Most recently, her career has focused on IT and Apple engineering, where she was part of the team that built Apple’s supply chain under Tim Cook.
As a 15+ year member of the Audio Engineering Society, she has co-developed and upgraded websites for both the organization's international education committee and regional Chicago Section, was a Chicago Section committeeperson and officer (treasurer, webmaster/social media) for a decade, and served on both domestic & international committees from 2007-2010 (125th, 126th, 127th Conventions). Between 2007-2010, Teri served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the North & Latin American Regions of the AES Student Delegate Assembly (SDA). She currently is part of the AI/ML Technical Committee, the DEI Committee, and assisted in sponsorship for the DEI mixers at the 155th and 153th AES Conventions. She will not be attending the 155th Convention in person due to a schedule conflict.
Teri earned a MBA in Management Information Systems/Consumer Insights from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, a MS in Music Technology from Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (Jacobs School of Music), and BM in Recording Technology from University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh where she received a NAMM Scholarship.
